  • This is a great starter book for anyone interested in apologetics. Craig argues for why Christians should engage in apologetics, why life without God is objectively meaningless, for the existence of God, and for the Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. Craig builds a positive case for the faith of Christianity and why one ought to be a Christian.

  • J Warner Wallace makes the case for why Christians ought to make the case for Christianity. He argues that Jesus made the case for his divine claims through miracles and appeals to the scriptures. Then he appeals to the earliest disciples, like Paul and Peter who defends the resurrection of Christ, for why we ought to. He also goes over the cumulative case approach for building the case for Christianity. J Warner Wallace argues for a Forensic Faith Christianity.

  • Frank Turek and Norman Geisler give a 12 point outline for the case of Mere Christianity. They first address whether truth exists and whether we should care about truth.  Then, they give arguments for the existence of God. Thirdly, Turek and Geisler give reasons for believing in miracles. Finally, they share arguments for the reliability of the New Testament and the Resurrection of Jesus. They show why atheists have to much faith.

  • Greg Koukl writes a great book that offers helpful questions when engaging non-believers. The Columbo Tactic asks a series of questions that deal with assertions that can be dwelt with by this tactic. One important question asked: What do you mean by...? This gets the context of what someone is saying so they don't throw you off guard or to have a more productive conversation. Tactics is a great book for employing apologetics into conversations.

  • The CSB Apologetics Study Bible is a great version to read since it's an accurate translation and comes with many helpful apologetic articles. They also have twisted scripture notes that deal with verses that are taken out of context by atheists or cults. They also give short arguments for authentic authorship for traditional authorship of authors assigned to each book of both Old and New Testament. This is a great study Bible that every Christian Should have.
